Incline your Behind

Hi Hawties!

Last week my trainer gave me a great cardio workout! I had been looking for an intense workout that burns a lot of calories and that would have me drenched by the end of the workout. Now, honestly when he first told me, I stuck to my usual cardio workout(running a mile or two) because it just didn’t sound intense enough for me.

I should have just listened when he told me the first time. On Wednesday, after one of our workout sessions he told me to get on the treadmill…..walk……briskly….on incline…..for 40 minutes. After the first 5 minutes your girl was feeling it! Let me tell you, I don’t usually sweat a lot but after this workout I was soaked. It tones the legs, flattens the abs and tightens the bunz all at the same time!(I sound like an infomercial) but it’s so true! I burned 400 calories. I urge everyone to go try it out this week!

Incline Treadmill Workout:

-Incline:15
-Speed: 4.0
-Duration:40 minutes
-Calories you will burn: 300-400

Brooke’s 9 Tips to a HAWT LIFE

  1. YOU’RE THE ISH– You are as good as you allow yourself to be! Believe in yourself, work hard and know that anything is possible!
  2. YOUR DIET IS EVERYTHING– Have you heard the quote “Abs are made in the kitchen”? It’s true. Eating clean is just as important as working out.
  3. CONSISTENCY IS KEY– Creating a consistent workout schedule and committing to it 100% will ensure the best results!
  4. DRINK LOTS- And I’m not talking about alcohol (sadly) but, WATER. You should be drinking at least half of your body weight in water every day.
  5. CARDIO-You should be doing cardio for at least 3-4 days a week for 30-45 min.
  6. TWERK IT OUT– Let’s face it, some days you won’t be able to make it to the gym but another great alternative is dancing. Not only is it fun, but it burns a lot of calories.
  7. TRACK YOUR PROGRESS– Before and after pictures are crucial. Take a picture before you start your diet/workout plan and after when it’s over.  It’s very important to track your progress so you don’t get discouraged!
  8. NO STRESS ZONE-Do not stress! Stressing doesn’t help anything, it actually hurts you and distracts you from reaching your goal.
  9. STAY POSITIVE! -It’s hard for me sometimes to stay positive when I don’t see results quickly, but if you are consistent with your workouts, drink tons of water and try to eliminate stress, then you will reach your goal!
